Summer Baseball Camp

Koa Sports is proud to continue our summer baseball camp for their 16th season of skill development for high-functioning, hard-working, & passionate players.

Koa's professional baseball coaches will cover hitting, positional play, offensive and defensive skills, pitching, catching, & individual analysis! With a seven-to-one player/staff ratio, these week-long sessions will give every player the chance for individual attention while playing games and skill competitions (for example; Home Run Derby). Camp is always the highlight of our coaches' summer and we can't wait to get started again!

2025 Summer Camp Details:

Who: Rising 2nd-8th Graders
Hours: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Cost: $379/camper
Location: Winston Churchill HS (11300 Gainsborough Rd, Potomac, MD)

  • Session 1: June 16– 20
  • Session 2: July 7 – 11
  • Session 3: July 14 – 18
  • Session 4: July 21 – 25
  • Session 5: July 28 – Aug 1
  • Session 6: Aug 4 – 8
  • Session 7: Aug 18-22 (Tilden Woods Local Park - 6800 Tilden Ln, Rockville, MD 20852) Additional $40 p/week if you want to swim

$259/Counselor In Training (CIT) (9th-10th Graders)-  5 CIT slots are available for each camp session. (There will be no CITs for session 7.)

Koa Sports & Takoma Thunderbolts Baseball Summer Camp

2024 T-Bolts Summer Camp Dates!

For the Sixth summer, our organization & the T-Bolts are continuing our partnership for this Summer's Baseball Camp! Our Koa Sports staff will join the Thunderbolts Players (current college baseball players that compete in the Cal Ripken Summer Collegiate League) to provide top-notch baseball instruction and create unforgettable summer memories. Description: Learn the fundamentals of baseball & develop skills from talented College Baseball Players. Our coaches will teach our youth players hitting, fielding, throwing, & more. We will group the athletes by age and skill level: 7-9, 10-12, and 13-14 years old. 
Camp Counselor Ratio: 10-1 camper/counselor ratio | Our Week-Long Camp is capped at 70 players & WILL SELL OUT

Ages: 11- 16 (Minimum Age: Rising 5th Grader)
Location: BLAIR Baseball/Softball Complex (51 University Boulevard East in Silver Spring, Maryland).
Description: Sharpen your baseball skills & build strength! Our college athlete counselors will be pushing your child to improve their game! This camp is for serious players ONLY. Day 1 of the camp will focus on pitching fundamentals, throwing mechanics, strength and balance training. Day 2 will focus on hitting fundamentals, core strength training, and batting strategy.
Camp Counselor Ratio: 5-1 camper/counselor ratio | Our Speciality Camp is capped at 10 players & WILL SELL OUT

CANCELLATION POLICY:

As a youth sports provider, our priority is providing youth sports – not getting tangled in tricky registration battles. As such, we have developed a cancellation policy that causes the least possible conflict while still allowing us to function.

  • If you cancel your registration at anytime, we will charge a $25 processing fee.
  •  If you come to the first day of camp and have such a terrible time that you no longer wish to participate in camp, we’ll refund you the cost of camp minus the $25 processing fee.
