Coaching Staff

Here at Koa, we warmly refer to field hockey as “your daughter’s next favorite sport.” We don’t mean to bash the others, but we’ve found field hockey is the sport that’s “just right” for so many of our Bethesda-area athletes.

Whether your girl is brand new to the sport or a high-schooler looking to take her game to the next level, we have the perfect program for her. We have a huge team of fun, driven coaches ready to give your daughter instruction at whatever level necessary.

Rec League (2nd-8th Grade)

This is a kid’s dream and a parent’s saving-grace. With practices held directly before the games, our FH league (for girls 2nd-8th grade) is a one-day, high-energy experience for girls looking to get out on the field and start playing! Koa currently offers a Fall, Winter and Spring Rec League! Click here for: Rec League Information

Clinics (K-8th Grade)

Some girls come to our clinics because they want an extra chance to play during the week. Others come because their weekends are booked and they can’t join our league. ALL leave with an improved skill set, a group of new friends and a new found energy for the sport. Koa currently offers Fall, Winter and Spring Clinics. Click here for Clinic Information.

Training (2nd - 12th Graders)

Want more one on one training and attention? Our coaches have years of experiences playing high level field hockey and can help your daughter improve their skills and focus. Click here for Training Information.
