BABL Baseball- 9-15U
We are the FIRST NO RAIN OUT LEAGUE! If there's inclement weather, we guarantee ONE practice p/week. If our Saturday games are rained out, we will play a Hittrax game. A Hittrax is the "golf simulator" for baseball, we can play at Nats Park, Yankee Stadium, or even Vanderbilt University. Our BABL program features professional coaches, legit fields, and premium uniforms. We offer three different divisions, 10U, 12U, and 15U. If you are ready for more than what rec can offer, and not quite ready for travel ball, BABL is for you!
Travel lite- 9-10u
"Travel Lite" is a hybrid 9/10U program that keeps our talented athletes in BABL A (10U), while providing an opportunity to play MORE LOCAL BASEBALL. This group will compete in SOME Sunday game(s), and a Tuesday practice each week. This will be on top of the Friday & Saturday BABL A commitment. This group will also compete in a local tournament or two at the beginning & end of the season. Travel Lite provides a taste of travel baseball, without jumping into the full travel experience. If you have a talented ball player, and your family is NOT READY TO GIVE UP ALL of your Sundays, this is for you.
waves travel 11-14U
Our 11U-14U teams practice twice during the week, have 1 hour indoor Saturday hitting practice and play double headers on Sunday around the beltway. Our teams compete in ~2 local tournaments each season Our teams are equipped with TWO professional (and paid) coaches, and our focus is development, fun, and growing our athletes into HS ball players.
Our 11&12U teams are a winter/spring/fall commitment. Our 12U goes to Cooperstown in late June every summer! This trip is optional, but it's once in a lifetime and we highly recommend it!
Our 13&14U teams are a winter/spring commitment. There will be a tryout in the summer for fall ball. Â
Koa's state of the art indoor training facility provides Waves players access to work on their game both during the season and the off season.
waves hs travel program
The Waves High School Program is broken down into two different levels. Our Local Teams & Academic Showcase Teams.
Our local teams practice twice a week in the summer and fall, and play local double headers on Sundays. These groups will not compete in tournaments, practice and games reps is the focus for this group. Â
Our Academic Showcase Teams are separated by graduating class. These groups practice twice a week and compete in tournaments, as the athletes age into upperclassmen we may travel from Virginia to Massachusetts for showcases & camps.
Both HS Local & Academic Showcase players will have access to Koa's Indoor Training facility to improve their game and get ready for their spring HS season.
