New Flag Football Director For Flag Football 2017 And Beyond!
Koa Family–please join us in welcoming the newest member of our Front Office staff: Matt Blecker. Below, you’ll find the intro letter Matt wrote to our Koa Flag Football community. Make sure to say ‘hi!’ and welcome to Matt when you meet him out on a field this fall.
Dear Koa Families,
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Matt Blecker and I am the new Director of Flag Football here at Koa Sports. I’m excited to join such a positive organization full of dedicated staff, all of whom are looking forward to another successful fall season.
A little background on myself: I was born in Flint, MI, and I graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies. More recently, I also completed a master’s program at Georgetown University in sports industry management. Before arriving at Koa, I worked for the University of Michigan and Georgetown University Athletic Departments, a public relations and events agency, and the Washington Nationals. I’ve been fortunate enough to create many great memories through a variety of sports ever since my youth, so my goal is to pass on those same great experiences to all Koa athletes.
