About: John is a dedicated individual with a deep passion for baseball and a wealth of experience both on and off the field. Originally from McLean, Virginia, John's baseball journey began at Landon School before he continued his education and passion for the game at Johns Hopkins University. His coaching and mentoring experience is extensive and varied. He organized the Johns Hopkins Club Baseball team, displaying his leadership skills and commitment to the sport. He also contributed to Impact Sports Baltimore, demonstrating his dedication to community engagement. During his undergraduate years, he coached baseball, honing his coaching abilities and shaping the next generation of athletes. His coaching career continued at the Calvert School in Baltimore, where he worked with middle school students, eventually becoming the middle school head coach. Additionally, he serves as the varsity assistant and a teaching aide at Saint Andrew’s Episcopal School, showcasing his multifaceted role in education and coaching. Currently, John is involved with coaching the AA Thunder/13u Travel team, where he imparts his knowledge and expertise to young players, fostering their growth and love for the game. Outside of his coaching endeavors, John enjoys playing baseball himself, participating in the Federal Baseball League as a member of the Oakton Orioles. His favorite MLB team is the Nationals, and he holds former player Rendon in high regard. One of John's most cherished baseball memories involves a thrilling walk-off win during a night game, a victory that coincided with Howard Bolden's birthday, adding a special and memorable touch to the experience. These diverse experiences and his passion for the game make John a respected figure both on and off the field
