Hard Work Pays Off

Koa made the move into the competitive club space for field hockey this season. After a few fun and successful years of rec field hockey, we saw a serious interest among some of our older players for the new experience–a new challenge. Along came our new field hockey director, Tatum Dyer, who started working with our U12 and U14 teams.

Any new team has its hard knocks. You’re still learning to gel with your teammates, learning the game and gaining situational knowledge. Our new Koa team SHINED. In one of their first “friendlies” against an established local club, the girls not only recorded 2 goals in the game….THEY WON.

One small step for the Koa program, one big step in the realm of confidence for these young and aspiring field hockey players. Keep up the hard work, ladies. It truly pays off.
