Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend with friends, family, football on TV, and tons of calories. This year I challenge everyone to find the spirit of Thanksgiving in their everyday life. Instead of looking at what you don’t have, look at what you are fortunate to have.
Here are a few suggestions. Instead of checking your inbox or reading potentially bad news in the paper when you first wake up, write down three things you are thankful for. Go out of your way to hand write nice a thank you note, send a genuine email, or help a stranger.
These ideas might seems small and insignificant, but if you can make this happen for 21 straight days it will become a habit and change that sometime negative lens we look through. Thanks for reading, now it’s time to workout and burn some Thanksgiving calories!
