BABL A Results:
🐝Bees 4-4🔥Hot Rods
The Bees and Hot Rods ended in a tie after both teams battled back from deficits. Each team played solid defense and got timely hits to keep their teams in the game. From the Bees, Ben S. went 1-2 and scored 2 runs and Miles S. pitched 2 innings on the mound allowing 2 runs and striking out 2. For the Hot Rods, Thomas H. hit a 2 run triple to tie the game late and Dylan B. pitched 2 innings tallying 3 strikeouts.
🥊Legends 15-3 🔩Lugnuts
The Legends pulled out a big victory behind solid pitching and strong hitting over the Lugnuts. For the Legends, Thad M. pitched 2 scoreless innings and Zander A. had 2 very well-hit balls including a double. From the Lugnuts, Sean F. went 1-1 with a walk and Declan C. pitched 2 innings with 2 strikeouts.
BABL AA Results:
The Thunder were able to pull out to a big victory over the Baysox to improve their record to 2-0. They used strong hitting and pitching and were patient with their at-bats to pull away. For the Thunder, Daniel P. pitched 3 innings allowing 1 hit and tallying 7 strikeouts and Marcelo S. went 1-3 with a home run. From the Baysox, Blaise S. went 1-1 with 2 stolen bases and Jack C. pitched well in the mound.
👀Lookouts 14-6 🐼Trash Pandas
Lookouts pulled out a big win in a strong effort by not teams. There were strong moments of hitting and pitching from both teams in this game. From the Lookouts, Zander S. had 2 hits and 2 runs. Luke B. was excellent behind the plate all game! For the Trash Pandas, Sam B. went 1-1 with 2 runs batted in and William H. pitched a strong inning on the mound.
⚙️Drillers 11-9 🇺🇸Senators
The Drillers pulled out a victory in a tight game. Both teams played well and had timely hits in this game. From the Senators, Eric F. had a strong inning on the mound and added a 3-3 performance at the plate with 2 runs batted in. For the Drillers, Emmett M. was very strong behind the plate and Jack D. pitched 2 solid innings to close out the game.
⚙️Drillers 10-8 🇺🇸Senators
The Drillers pulled out another victory in a very close game against the Senators. This was a very competitive game with some solid pitching and clutch hits. For the Senators, Michael B. had 2 strikeouts in his inning pitched and Adam K. went 2-3 with 2 runs batted in. From the Drillers, Andrew O. went 2-2 with 2 doubles and Luke V. had a strong pitching outing for the save.
🐼Trash Pandas 14-8 🧦Baysox (9/18 Game)
The Baysox were able to jump out to an early lead, but the Trash Pandas battled to win a back and forth affair in a tight game. Both teams had timely hits and had some solid pitching in this game. For the Baysox, Zach S. went 1-2 with 2 runs batted in and JT S. pitched a solid inning on the mound. From the Trash Pandas, Nate H. went 1-2 with a double and 2 runs batted in and William H. pitched 1 ⅔ innings with 4 strikeouts.
BABL AAA Results:
🐗Bison 9-0 🌊Tides
The Bison and Tides were in a pitching duel for much of this game until a late outburst of runs by the Bison helped them pull away for the victory. From the Bison, Michael L. pitched 4 innings allowing 0 hits and striking out 10 batters. Joaquin F. added two triples. For the Tides, Akira H. had a strong pitching performance striking out 8 batters and Henry H. had a hard-hit double.
💪Clippers 7-5 🐔Mud Hens
The Clippers battled back from an early deficit to win a highly competitive and well-played baseball game. There were very few errors in this game from either team. For the Clippers, Theo H. went 1-2 with 2 runs batted in and Carter B. was very solid behind the plate. From the Mudhens, Will Z. pitched 3 innings with 4 strikeouts and Griffin V. went 1-3 with a double and 2 runs batted in.
🦾Iron Pigs 10-5 😈Bulls
After an early pitching duel, both teams were able to come up with big hits for the remainder of the game. The Iron Pigs pulled away for the victory late with some strong pitching and plate discipline. For the Bulls, Charles T. pitched 1 ⅔ innings allowing 1 run, and Patrick M. went 1-2 with a run batted in. From the Iron Pigs, Luke M. pitched 3 ⅔ innings and allowed only 2 runs and Peter D. went 3-4 with a run batted in.
