What does Shaping Kids’ Lives Through Sports mean to you?:
“Team sports teach so many more life lessons than in the classroom. My job as a coach is to
motivate and inspire them to be better players, athletes and teammates.”

Playing Experience:
Playing since 1997. Introduced as a sport in gym and was hooked. Played at Old Mill
High School as a GK all years. After a very long hiatus, started back in adult leagues
which brought her to trying out for USA Masters Field Hockey. She’s been a GK her whole

Coaching Experience:
Started coaching her own daughter in 2014 for a youth organization in Anne Arundel
County. Became FH commissioner in 2015 while coaching. Her first year as
commissioner, the organization won its first County Championship and her team made it
to the semi finals. Started coaching club FH for Stevenson University in 2016, the group
won its first game in 2017 against Johns Hopkins. Was head coach until the club ended
in 2018.

Season Started with Koa Sports:
She started in the spring of 2019. She worked with an amazing 16u squad that reminded her why
she loves coaching.

Off the Field Interests:
I like to create things and sell on Etsy. Giving my dog, Impa extra cuddles is definitely a
great way to end my day. I also like to play video games and share cult classic movies
with my kids.
