Tyler was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia. He graduated from St. John’s College High School in Washington D.C and played one year of basketball and four years of baseball for the Cadets and earned a WCAC Title and DC State Title. Tyler received his undergraduate degree from Washington & Jefferson College while majoring in business and minoring in communications. Outside of the classroom, Tyler was a member of the Washington & Jefferson Presidents baseball team. In his four years, he and his senior teammates were a part of four PAC Conference Championships and four NCAA regional appearances.

All through high school and college, Tyler fell in love with the idea of being able to work in the sports industry. During his time at Washington and Jefferson, Tyler completed an internship in the Athletic Department of LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. While at LSU that summer, Tyler assisted with operations, marketing, and business tasks within LSU’s athletic department. Briefly after receiving his degree, Tyler accepted a seasonal role with HeadFirst: Washington Nationals Summer Camps and was their Operations & Customer Experience Coordinator. Tyler is excited to work with Koa Sports as Flag Football Director & Baseball Operations/Coach.

In Tyler's personal life, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Even when not working in sports he takes every opportunity he can get to attend sporting events of any kind! Other than sports Tyler loves trying new things & finding new tv shows to binge!
