Surviving a wet Spring!

Spring Season has come to an end!

This spring was definitely a wet one, but the games must go on!

This past Sunday was our Play Day for Spring Rec League! It was a crazy, rainy day, but the teams were able to play through the rain and play one final day!

For our 2nd – 3rd Grade and 4th – 5th Grade RL, the staff did things a little different. With the few brave players we had, we combined the teams to play in one scrimmage. First the players started with scrimmaging each other. After they played for about 30 minutes, the coaches mixed in and played with the players!

It was so great seeing the players push through in the rain! Who knows, maybe this rainy play day was actually preparing them for a future high school game in the rain 🙂

Our 2nd – 3rd Grade Champions!!

Our 4th – 5th Grade Champions!!

Our 6th – 8th Grade Novice Champions!!

For our 6th – 8th Grade Novice players, they were actually able to have a full play day! The teams battled it out, even if their coach had to play with them 🙂 In the end, it was Team Cardinals who swept the Championship game!

Congratulations Team Cardinals for playing hard and winning the title of RL Champs!

Pictures of the Week!

This Monday was the last session of our Goalie Clinic and all of our goalies and coaches worked hard to have a great 4 week season! The Koa Staff hopes that we will see all of our goalies at Summer Camp or the HS Summer Goalie Camp!
