Koa Select Basketball

Koa provides players with the opportunity to play in a safe, rewarding, self-empowering and competitive environment, giving them an opportunity to reach their highest potential. Mixing in games, competitions, and plenty of exercises, our Select teams will keep your son energized, interested, and engaged along the way. This program is designed to close the gap between recreational and AAU basketball.

Program Highlights:

  • Weekly practice sessions. Our goal is to get our players ready for game day, while building and improving our basketball techniques.
  • All players will receive equal attention during practices and playing time is merit-based.
  • Teams will have starters and role players.
  • There may be more than one team per age group.
  • Curriculum based volunteer coaches

Select Teams

  • League: 365 HBL (Montgomery County, Maryland)
  • Tournament: 1 per season
  • Coaches: Volunteer Coach
  • Cost: $669
  • Purpose: A bridge between rec and AAU to develop your skills before the next level

Program Breakdown:

  • Koa Sports offers multiple opportunities to play Select basketball: a fall, winter and spring season.
  • Intermediate level players looking to expand on their skills.
  • During the seasons, players attend weekly practices and play in a local league and possible tournaments.
  • Tryouts take place before each season (tryouts are mandatory for every player).
