“Team sports teach so many more life lessons than in the classroom. My job as a coach is to motivate and inspire them to be better players, athletes and teammates.”
Playing Experience:
Lu has been playing since 1997. She played at Old Mill High School as a Goalie. After a very long hiatus, started back in adult leagues which brought her to trying out for USA Masters Field Hockey.
Coaching Experience
Lu Started coaching her own daughter in 2014 for a youth organization in Anne Arundel County. She became commissioner in 2015 while coaching. Her first year as commissioner, the organization won its first County Championship and her team made it to the semi finals. She started coaching club for Stevenson University in 2016 and was head coach until the club ended
in 2018.
