What does Shaping Kids’ Lives Through Sports mean to you?:
“This quote means that sports have a significant impact on kids no matter their age or
skill level. Sports offer kids the ability to progress and have that determination to want to
continuously work hard and improve themselves and their skills and knowledge of the
game. This drive and determination allows kids to apply this mindset to aspects of their
other life, like in school. By shaping their lives to make them unlock a version of
themselves that they never thought they could both on and off the field.”
Playing Experience:
Presley played field hockey starting in 7th grade and through her senior year of high school
where she was recruited to become a Lady Phoenix at Wilson College. She was a starting
midfielder and defender at Wilson College for a year before she transferred universities.
Coaching Experience:
Throughout Presley’s field hockey career most coaching experiences came from volunteering
at clinics that were held at her high school and she did the same in college.
