What does Shaping Kids’ Lives Through Sports mean to you?:
“I truly believe playing a team sports gives kids invaluable lessons that they will carry forward into their lives
outside of athletics. My job as a coach is to teach my players the fundamentals of
teamwork, dedication and hard work that will serve them as they move forward in their
lives.”
Playing Experience: Katie has played since the 5th grade; She played field hockey at Fallston High School and then went on to play goalie at the University of Mary Washington, a DIII school in Fredericksburg, VA.
Coaching experience: Katie began coaching in college at summer field hockey camps. She has coached club, development, private lessons and Rec leagues at Koa, but spends most of her time with U12 club.
