Dear Koa Families,
Great news… Koa Sports is excited to announce a promotion from within! Koa’s former Field Hockey Program Director Casey Hertel is now Koa’s Director of Operations. Our ever-growing field hockey program is left in great hands with the new addition of Kelly Given. Kelly brings over 20 years of field hockey playing and coaching experience to the Koa team.
Casey, who joined the Koa staff two years ago, has an undergraduate degree from Shenandoah University and a Master’s in Sports Management from Georgetown. Casey’s hard work, dedication, and top-notch organizational skills make her a valued team member at Koa Sports, and are the reason for her well-deserved promotion. The Director of Operations is a critical position at Koa Sports. Casey is responsible for organizing all of our field/gym permits, running payroll, making sure all of our professionally coaches are trained and background checked–and much, much more!
