BABL Winter/Spring 2027 Details

BABL A

Here's the registration link for the Winter/Spring 2027 BABL A (10U) Program, we are fired up to get going:

Program Details:

Ages: 10U- 3rd & 4th graders (a couple of strong 2nd graders have been invited into the league)
Season Dates: Saturday, Feb 6th- Early June
Winter Workouts: Sat Feb 6th-March 6th (Five sessions)
Opening day: Saturday, April 10th (first outdoor practice March 19th)
Playoffs: June 4th-June 7th (Single Elimination)
Game Schedule: Nine (9) regular season games on Saturday morning (mostly) at Cabin John Regional Park (if it rains on a Saturday, we play a Hittrax Game & try to make up MOST games) + all teams will play ONE Monday night game under the lights at Cabin John #2 aka Mini Povich
Practice Schedule: Friday evening 6-7:30 pm at Churchill HS- IF IT RAINS- we will have a 1 hour Friday INDOOR practice inside of our facility
Cost: $1,125 per player for the winter & spring season (payment plans available)
Uniforms: Personalized uniform with pants, hat, belt and socks included!
Roster Size: 12-13 players per team
Registration Deadline: Midnight on Wednesday, October 21st

BABL AA

Ages: 12U- 5th & 6th grades (a few smaller 7th graders may play in BABL AA- the rest of the 7th graders have moved up to BABL AAA)
Season Dates: Saturday, Feb 6th- Early June
Winter Workouts: Saturday, Feb 6th-March 6th (Five sessions)
Opening day: Saturday, April 10th (the first outdoor practice is Monday, March 15th)
Playoffs: June 3rd-June 10th (Single Elimination)
Game Schedule: Nine (9) regular season games on Saturday afternoon (mostly) at Cabin John Regional Park (if it rains on a Saturday, we play a Hittrax Game as well as try to make up most games)

Playoffs: Wednesday, June 3rd-Saturday, June 5th (single elimination)
Game Schedule: Nine (9) regular season games on Saturday afternoons at Shirley Povich Field, Churchill HS, or Laytonia Park (if it rains on a Saturday, we play a Hittrax Game as well as try to make up MOST games) + teams may have games on Monday or Wednesdays, depending on permits
Practice Schedule: Monday and Wednesday evenings - IF IT RAINS- we will have a 1 hour Wednesday INDOOR practice inside of our facility
Cost: $1,299 per player for the winter & spring season (payment plans available)
Uniforms: Personalized uniform with pants, hat, belt and socks included!
Roster Size: 13-14 players per team

Postseason Tournament & All-Star Game

Get ready for the spotlight! Our postseason tournament culminates with the All-Star Game, where players get to feel like big leaguers. With walk-up music, an announcer, and high-quality photos, it’s an experience no one will forget.

Location: Games usually held at Mini Povich & Shirley Povich Field
All-Star Perks: Commemorative swag, MVP awards, and no admission fees for parents
End-of-Season Playoffs: Every team qualifies for a single-elimination tournament
