About:  Najia Hasan is the Chief Programs and Development Officer at Koa Sports. She will be managing our Multisport Summer Camp program, assisting our field hockey department and providing additional support for our program and staff development needs. Najia has coached field hockey with Koa Sports since 2019, and led the U-16 club team to win the National Indoor Championship! At the High School level, she helped her team win 3 division championships, 3 district titles, and an AA-state championship. She took her game to the college level, playing Division 1 Field Hockey at Lock Haven University, where she assisted the Lady Eagles to capture the NEC tournament championships in 2008 and 2009. After the 2009 season, the Lady Eagles advanced to the competitive Atlantic-10 conference, and Najia earned A-10 first-team honors in 2011, second-team honors in 2010, and an honorable mention in 2009.

Najia served as the Director of Programs and Events at the Greater Washington Board of Trade for over 7 years, where she led the planning and execution of more than 200 gatherings each year. Najia has extensive experience in program, event and staff management, along with partnership and stakeholder engagement. Najia always strives to use a methodical and collaborative approach to strategy and planning.
