Club and Development
Team Coordinator

I played club throughout middle school and high school which gave me the opportunity to play D1 field hockey at Michigan State University. I graduated with a bachelor of science in Kinesiology and a minor in health promotion. I have experience coaching field hockey from age 5 up to college level. I am passionate about keeping the love of field hockey in the game and am excited to share my passion with Koa field hockey.
Outside of field hockey, I enjoy staying active by working out, taking and teaching fitness classes, and going hiking.
I am grateful to share my experience and knowledge here at Koa and look forward to meeting everyone!

When is a Penalty Stroke is awarded?
1. for an offense of a defender in the circle that prevented a probable goal:
example: Susie takes a shot on goal and Tina (who is standing behind the goalie) stops the shot with her foot.
2. when a defender makes an intentional offense in the circle against the opponent who has the possession of the ball or had the opportunity to play the ball.
