James played soccer, basketball, and football, with hoops being his favorite sport of them all. While attending Pocomoke High School, he played three years of varsity soccer and basketball and was a 2-time MPSSAA HS soccer champion (07, 08) and a MPSSAA Basketball State finalist (09). Additionally, he was recruited at the Junior College level for basketball.
James has five years of coaching and training experience, including time spent as a youth counselor.
