2020 Multisport Summer Camp: Boys (PreK-6th Grade)

Can’t decide between traditional baseball, hoops or soccer camps? You don’t have to – Koa’s Boys Multisport Camp offers it all and more! We play kickball, basketball, flag football, and awesome field games during each one-week session. We will be at our house, Koa HQ, but also have access to outdoor fields at Jewish Day Upper School (directly across the street). Swimming will take place at Kids First Swim School and jumping will take place at LAUNCH Trampoline Park (both under Koa HQ). Being a part-indoor and part-outdoor camps means weather is not a factor – we have a rain or shine facility availability, and every piece of sport equipment on earth. All you need to do is drop your camper off and let the games begin!

Before/ Aftercare: Available for each of the eleven sessions. Before Care (8am-9am) is $50/camper and aftercare (3pm-5pm) is $100/camper.

With theme days, like-minded campers, and the best coaches on earth, this is the classic way to spend your summer. All campers will be engaged, active, and full of stories at the pick-up line in the afternoon. With a six-to-one camper/staff ratio, rain or shine facility availability, and every piece of sports equipment on earth, all you need to do is drop your camper off and let the games begin!

You can come as a team of six and register together, or sign up as an individual looking to make new friends in an awesome sports camp experience. During registration, let us know if there is another athlete with which you would like to play. Within an age group, the teams spend the day together and do all of the events together. Each team will have their own coach that will be with them the entire day and train them in each sport.

WHERE IS MULTISPORT CAMP LOCATED?

Our Multisport Camp is located at Koa Indoor Facility (4960 Boiling Brook Pkwy, Rockville, MD 20852) + outdoor fields at Jewish Day School (1901 E Jefferson St, Rockville, MD 20852). Our optional swimming portion of camp is located at Kids First Swim School (Randolph Hills Shopping Center – 4888 Boiling Brook Pkwy, Rockville, MD 20852). Our optional jumping/trampoline park portion of camp is located at Launch Trampoline Park (4942 Boiling Brook Pkwy, Rockville, MD 20852)

WHAT ARE THE CAMP HOURS?

Camp runs from 9:00am to 3:00pm Monday-Friday. We do offer before care (8am-9am) for $50 per camper per week + aftercare (3pm-5pm) for $100 per camper per week.

WHAT DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BRING WITH THEM TO CAMP?

Each camper must bring

  • a snack + full lunch each day
  • refillable water bottle (with full name)
  • athletic shoes (no open-toed shoes allowed!)
  • completed health & swim form if not already submitted to emily@koasports.org
  • sunscreen
  • swimsuit + towel (if participating in swimming)
  • floaties or swim vest (not required, but strongly recommended)

DO YOU SEPARATE CAMPERS BY GRADE?

Yes, we separate groups by grade. We do take group requests if you would like your camper to be with another camper even if they are older/younger. Our groups are typically…

  • 3rd grade-6th grade

DO YOU ACCEPT WALK-UP REGISTRATIONS?

No, all campers must be pre registered before the start of camp. Camp registration will remain open until the Sunday night before camp begins (unless already sold out).

CAN I REQUEST MY CAMPER TO BE WITH ANOTHER CAMPER?

Yes! You may enter your group requests during registration. If you have a request after you register, you may email your group request to emily@koasports.org

WILL I RECEIVE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT CAMP AFTER I REGISTER?

Once you register and pay for your camp session(s), you will receive a confirmation email from SI Play for your own records. You will also receive a pre-camp email the week before your session(s) begins. This email will provide you with all necessary information including: what to bring to camp, directions, weekly schedule and more.

DO I NEED TO COMPLETE ANY FORMS FOR MY CHILD?

Yes. Before camp please submit a camper health form and a swim permission form (see on the right). These must be completed before camp starts. Please email to emily@koasports.org.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Full Refunds Available Until May 1, 2020

As a youth sports provider, our priority is providing youth sports – not getting tangled in tricky registration battles. As such, we have developed a cancellation policy that causes the least possible conflict while still allowing us to function.

  • If you cancel your registration before May 1, we’ll refund you 100% of the program cost.
  • If you cancel your registration after May 1 and find someone to take your spot, we’ll refund you 80% of the cost.
  • If you cancel your registration after May 1 and fail to find someone to take your spot, we’ll credit your Koa account with 80% of the cost.
  • If you come to the first day of your camp and have such a terrible time that you no longer wish to participate in camp, we’ll refund you with 100% of the cost.
